Lumber Tally Person (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

We are a stable lumber mill offering full time employment.   Looking for a tally person with lumber knowledge and some experience with the Lisa Inventory System.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 6 months with the Lisa Lumber Inventory System, and be able to communicate in English.

Work Setting: Lumber / forest industry

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills:  move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Sort goods

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Confined spaces, Dusty, Hot, Cold

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation only, Public transportation is NOT available

Essential Skills: Reading & Writing English, Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory.
