Logging truck driver to transport short logs with an eight axle configuration on off highway and on highway routes. Perform pre-trip, en route and post trip inspection, such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes etc, and to oversee all aspects of the tractor and trailer. Record hours of service and maintain log books. Ensure the cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures to transport the load of logs.  Communicate on the radio any safety concerns with other truck drivers etc. Drive to the road conditions and at a safe speed.

Class 1 with air brake endorsement
