Logging Supervisor (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

Experienced foreman that represents the interests of the Company while ensuring the safety, competency and productivity of the workers under his supervision. Familiar with cable logging - both towers and grapple yarder - 70% ground based, 30% cable yarding.

Qualifications & Experience: 

- Skilled at communicating with the workers in a manner that is firm and direct but never intimidating or threatening
- Plan the workday with crew to achieve maximum efficiency
- Worker Training
- Emergency Procedures
- Worker and Workplace Inspection
- Immediately correct any unsafe acts
- Investigate and report all incidents
- Ensure that equipment and machinery is properly inspected and maintained
- Formulate safety rules and procedures to suit the particular needs of a situation
- Reports
- Must have a current driver’s abstract and hold a valid driver’s licence on file.
