Employment Duties:

• Check in loads of logs
• Issue load tickets
• Measure and grade logs
• Identify logs by species
• Accurately grade logs
• Quantify deductions for defect
• Operate log loaders (will be given appropriate training)
• Maintain positive relationships with log truck drivers

Job Abilities / Skills:

• Able to correctly identify log species
• Able to measure length and diameter of logs
• Good math aptitude
• Able to operate and understand data recorders
• Good judgement skills – common sense
