Log Loader Operator / Grapple Yarder Operator (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

Lemare has been in business for over 30 years and is located  in Port McNeill, Northern Vancouver Island, 2 hours north of Campbell River.

These are USW (Union) positions. 

Lemare Group is seeking 2 job positions:
1  Log Loader Operator
1 Grapple Yarder Operator

Job Requirements: 

  • Must be experienced in BC Coastal Terrain
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience loading Off Highway /Fat Logging Trucks- 100 ton loads
  • Experienced operating 4800 Size Madill's with Danglehead Grapple Log Loaders an asset
  • Experienced operating 144/044 Grapple Yarders an asset
  • Must have valid class 5 Drivers License
  • First Aid Ticket - Level 3 an asset
  • Must have a strong approach to safety
