Coastal is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is looking for people to join our growing team as a Junior or Senior Forest Technicians .

Junior Forest Technicians will work in the field in a team atmosphere completing all elements of full phase forestry development.

Senior Forest Technicians will be responsible for leading natural resource project with a mixture of field and office work. If you want to expand your experience, work with active and motivated people, help grow a young company, and further your career, then Coastal is a great fit for you.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate they meet the following criteria: 

• Hold a valid BC driver’s licence 
• Physically fit and able to withstand the rigors of working in an outdoor environment 
• Interested in travel throughout BC 
• Well organized with good communication skills
• A working understanding of forest engineering and the forestry business 
• A working understanding of GPS and related forestry technologies 
• Experience with interior timber cruising is an asset, 
• Preference will be given to those who are eligible for enrolment with the ABCFP. 

The positions will commence as soon as the applicant is available and compensation packages will be commensurate with experience.
