Holtom Forestry Consulting is a multiphase timber development consulting firm based out of Williams Lake. For the past 15 years we have provided industry, government and private clients with professional quality products.

We currently have positions open for Junior and Senior field technologists.

Junior technologist duties require working as a team member to aid in the development of block and road layout, GPS traversing, riparian classification, beetle probing and assisting with timber cruising. On the job training will be provided.

Senior technologist duties require supervising and providing support for junior staff while progressing through multiphase projects, timber cruising and maintaining project timelines.

Both positions require:

- A valid class 5 driver’s license.

- References.

The Senior position requires:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in field activities such as block and road layout, GPS surveys, stream classification and timber cruising.

- A demonstrated ability to work as a team member and the ability to “lead by example” while supervising junior staff.

Preference will be given to those individuals who are presently registered or eligible for registration with the Association of BC Forest Professional.

Compensation

Benefits are 100% paid for by the company after a 3 month trial period.
