Profile  Our client is a well established group of companies in logging industry in downtown Vancouver.  This is a great opportunity for an entry level accountant to build accounting skills and experience in a small professional work environment. Opportunity to be trained and learn under a qualified accountant.

Employment Responsibilities  Accounts payable approvals and invoice postings Updating Accounts Receivable and preparing sales invoices Managing log inventory: importing and validating loads Log boom cut-offs Preparing reports for management as needed Assist reception with filing and phones, as needed

Job Qualifications  Suitable candidate must be enrolled in CPA program and have completed foundational accounting courses Previous AP and AR experience preferred Close attention to detail Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively Excellent problem-solving skills Works well in a small team environment

Compensation

Salary Range: $40,000-47,000
