Our client, a lumber distributor, is looking for an Inventory Coordinator to support the sales and coordination of shipments for the company.

This is a permanent and full-time opportunity with a leader in the forestry product distribution industry.

The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to utilize various skills in inventory control, communications, sales, administration and coordination.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining Inventory pricing
  • Maintaining inventory control
  • Perform daily inventory investigations & audits
  • Coordinate inventory counts when required
  • Monthly inventory tracking and reconciliations
  • Cost allocation of completed products
  • Order entries of purchases and sales
  • Preparing custom documentation/invoicing
  • Invoicing and receiving of inventory
  • Process returns and credits
  • Coordinate shipments
  • Ensuring efficiency in deliveries
  • Create custom documentation for shipments crossing between Canadian/US boarders
  • Distribute and prepare various metric reporting
  • Performs other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Two plus years experience in coordination, inventory control, or customer service
  • Ideally experience with the lumber industry
  • Very strong in MS Office suite
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills

Minimum Education: Diploma

Compensation

Salary: $36,000.00/Annually
