Industrial Electrician (Maintenance & Trades)

Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities include safely performing installation, maintenance, testing, and repairs on equipment; maintaining all plant electrical, electronic, and PLC equipment; and performing problem-solving and preventive maintenance.

Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a high-school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience working in an industrial environment. He/she must have knowledge of AC and DC power and control circuits, three-phase power circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and standard lockout procedures. Additionally, the candidate must also demonstrate mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency.

Behavioral Profile: The candidate must possess outstanding safety and attendance records, as well as verbal and written communication skills. He/she must be patient, self-confident, committed to quality, self-motivated with a can-do attitude, and detail- and action-oriented. He/she must demonstrate prioritization skills and a sense of urgency, as well as the abilities to multitask, cross-train, and grasp complex concepts easily. Lastly, he/she must be willing to learn, grow, and work independently and with others.
