Industrial Electrician (Maintenance & Trades)

Vaagen Fibre Canada sawmill is seeking candidates to fill Industrial Electrician position for our Midway, BC operation. In this position, you will be directly responsible to provide safe maintenance, repair, installation and modification of all sawmill related equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Knowledge of computerized machinery

• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Ability to follow the Company and Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience

• Red Seal or Journeyman Certification preferred

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of the team
