Industrial Electrician (Maintenance & Trades)

We are currently seeking an INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN in our Port Moody sawmill.

The Electrician will be a qualified tradesperson holding a valid inter-provincial Journeyman's ticket.  Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will perform all repair, installation and programming of electrical and automated equipment.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of five years experience in a sawmill setting.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of PLC's.
• Proven programming skills.
• Safety conscious attitude.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively participate in a team environment.

Shift work is required, subject to the production and maintenance requirements of the operation.  A valid BC Driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
