Western Forest Products is currently looking for a fully qualified & experienced Grapple Yarder Hooktender to join our Central Island Forest Operation (CIFO) at Menzies bay, approximately 15 minutes north of Campbell River.
The successful candidate willl have an excellent safety record and strong work ethic. You are a highly motivated, dependable, team player with excellent time management and problem solving skills.
This operation works a continual shift – Grapple Yarder Hooktenders work 8.6 hours per day, 6 days on and 3 days off.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in BC Coastal Logging within the past 5 years. Candidate must possess a valid BC Driver’s License. Preference may be given to the candidate holding a valid OFA 3 certificate.
