Lo-Bar Log Transport Co. Ltd requires an experienced full time heavy duty mechanic to service/maintain our logging equipment. Duties include troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults & malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment & repair or replace defective parts, test repaired equipment for proper performance, clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, attachments and working tools. Welding experience would be an asset. The successful candidate will have a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate. A minimum of 3 years experience working on this type of equipment is required. 

Compensation

The wage for this position is $32.00 per hour. Work will take place in a rural area approx 2 hours North of Prince George, BC. Staff accommodations are available and travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
