JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Superintendent, the candidate would be responsible for all the harvesting planning, pre and post harvest operations and coordination with other teams:

– Contractor and staff management

– Planning the harvest operations and programs annually

–  Managing all activities associated with harvesting, including: supervision of logging, road construction, maintenance and deactivation, completion of waste assessments, hazard abatement and productivity audits.

– Participate in the contractor negotiations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary: $90,000-$100,000 + relocation assistance

Benefits: Extended health and dental, vision, MSP

Vacation: 3 weeks (negotiable)

REQUIREMENTS

– Previous experience in Harvesting or Forestry Operations  

– Strong and proven leadership experience

– Ability to work in Fort St James location
