Hancock Forest Management is a Forest Stewardship Council certified forest manager responsible for the management of approximately 165,000 hectares throughout New Zealand. We combine leading forest management techniques with outstanding environmental stewardship to provide maximum value to our clients. 

Due to an increase in our harvesting operations in our Central Region, we're currently recruiting for a Harvesting Forester to be based in our Tokoroa office. The role will oversee the health and safety, value recovery, log quality, environmental and production performance of harvesting crews, as well as contributing to the overall business performance by way of budget setting and monitoring. 

The successful applicant will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in forestry or a related field and/or have experience in harvesting or forestry operations. We need a great team player who has strong relationship and people management skills and a commitment to health and safety and the environment. Sound computing skills are also desirable.
