Muckerts Sawmill (Qld) is seeking to appoint people to the following full time positions.  These roles are based at Laidley (South East Qld) and are paid above award rates.

  1. Hardwood Timber Benchman
  2. Greenchain Attendant 

Benchman

  • Operate timber bench saw
  • Must have previous experience operating a bench saw in a hardwood timber mill

Greenchain Attendant

  • Pull timber off greenchain and stack into packs or job lot orders
  • Must be competent with basic maths (ie addition/subtraction)
  • Must be able to drive a forklift
  • Must have a high level of physical fitness
