Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer this role leads the forestry port services supply chain for New Zealand and is a key member of the Executive Team. Working closely with the other two operational General Managers (NZ Logistics and Australia), the role is critical in driving value to our customers through operational excellence.

Key to this leadership role is the absolute focus on health and safety, the ownership and accountability to delivery of the financial performance of the Forestry Services Division; a drive to create efficiency and performance; identify and develop new technologies and systems and grow and develop the Forestry Services team capability. 

The successful applicant will be a dynamic leader with current experience in supply chain management at a senior level. Forestry experience while relevant is not essential. We are seeking new thinking and new approaches to the dynamic changes occurring in the port industry. Are you the one?

To be considered for and succeed in this position you will require:

  • Forestry and or Supply Chain qualifications to a senior tertiary level.
  • Financial management experience in a large supply chain logistics environment.
  • Experience in optimising efficiency of plant and labour.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and knowledge of legislative requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills with all stakeholders.
