General Labor - Lumber Mill (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Entry level positions that mainly consist of general labor activities. Seeking those who are junior in their careers and are looking for a full time position with great long term potential. Candidates with experience in physical work also will be considered.

Positions will be in the following areas:

Edger/Picker: Fast, physically demanding position that will be stacking lumber into a chipper machine. Will require a good level of physical stamina as the loads of lumber can come out fast at times when the machine is running.

Paper Wrap: Process of wrapping loads of lumber for shipment with water repellent plastic wrap. Most of the wrapping is done by machine, but people will need to use a staple gun seal the plastic to finish the process.

Sticker Setting: Setting stickers on individual pieces of lumber and scanning them into the inventory management system.

Clean Up: Shoveling bark dust, cleaning out machines, moving wood chips etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Physical labor work background

- Strong work ethic

- Pass drug and background test

SHIFT: Swing 4:00pm-2:30am M-F

Compensation

PAY: $15.25/hr
