Primary technician work responsibilities will be to assist staff foresters with field work such as marking, GPS collection, cruising, vegetation control application, and plan layout.

Successful applicants must be able to work in inclement weather and harsh field conditions during long days in the field. Education and introduction to GIS and GPS software and equipment is available through the completion of project work. Basic Microsoft computer skills and excellent communication skills are required.
