Hytest Timber requires an Operations Manager to oversee the company’s Harvesting, Road Building and Trucking activities.
Candidates ideally have 5+ years of forest oeprations supervisory experience. Activities will include helping Foremen in planning and scheduling logging operations, including crew and equipment, coordinating road building activities and helping Truck Supervisors with logistics of the hauling operations.
Working with the Safety Consultant, oversee the Company Occupational Safety and Health program, with a commitment to ensure the safety of the employees. Take responsibility for EMS activities, working with licenses and employees to ensure compliance.
Ability to tackle multiple operational tasks and work with a minimum of supervision is required. At times, this position requires working outdoors in remote locations in a variety of weather conditions.
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's licence.
Compensation
Hytest Timber offers competitive wages and benefits.$70,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually for 200 hours per month
