Position Summary:
TDB Consultants Inc. has immediate openings for a permanent Forestry Field Assistants. The full time position will require work in the areas of road and block GPS Traversing, assisting with Timber Cruising, and other related field duties. This is a hands-on position with primarily fieldwork responsibilities. Work is located throughout Northern BC and will involve a mix of town and camp work.

• Ecological Data Collection
• Reconnaissance
• Road and Block Layout
• Other related field duties
Minimum Requirements:
• Knowledge of GPS Technology
• Knowledge of Forest Road and Block Layout
• Knowledge of Timber Cruising
• Experience within the outdoors
• Team player who is focused on safety, quality, and production
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is preferred
• Willing to work in diverse and demanding conditions
• Able and willing to travel
• Able to pass a minimum physical fitness test
