Pathfinder Group is currently accepting applications to fill full-time Forestry / Environmental positions within our resource and asset management department. The positions are primarily field based, however some office duties may be involved. The position will involve a variety of technical forestry work. Duties will include; data collection, site monitoring and reporting, riparian assessments, site plan data collection, GPS traversing, and other associated field duties.
Assets for this position include:
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a related field
- Able to work with others in a team environment and independently
- Being physically fit
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Ability to travel or work extended hours when necessary
- Valid Class 5 Driving Licence and Safe Driving Record
- Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS Certificates
- Professional level skills in problem solving, decision making and organizational abilities
- Have strong computer and associated software skills
- Demonstrate good communication and technical writing skills
