Forester (Forester)

Log Creek, LLC is hiring a full-time Forester in Bogart, Georgia.

Job Description:

This position will work with the current forester to assist in a full range of forestry functions to ensure the proper management of approximately 50,000 acres of Northeast Georgia timberland. Duties will include maintaining forest inventory database, timber health monitoring, GIS mapping and data gathering, planning and managing timber sale contracts and reforestation operations, boundary painting, assisting owner with land acquisitions/cruises, and other duties as assigned.

The job will be based out of Bogart, GA, but travel will be required.

* A bachelor’s degree that included a major field of study in forestry

* 3+ years of prior experience

* Candidate must have good driving record and maintain driver’s license

* Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
