Job Title: Forester (Full Time, Year Round)

Supervisor: Reservation Forester

Location: Trust Lands and Natural Resources (Forestry Station)

Job Description:

Assists Reservation Forester with forest management planning and implementation on the Grand Portage Indian Reservation. Primary responsibility is timber harvest management. Assists with all aspects of Forest Management.

Education: 

Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry or a closely related field of study with forestry experience.

Employment Qualifications:

Must possess valid driver’s license and be insurable. Experience with ArcGIS is desirable.  

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions.

American Indian Preference will apply.

Compensation

Based on qualifications & experience
($1,308 – 1,462)/Biweekly
