GreenStar Forest Solutions Inc., a consulting firm based in Valemount, BC, is hiring forestry professionals, ideally skilled in harvest planning on mountainous terrain, or with a desire to develop these skills.

Valemount is a community on the verge of transformation. The imminent development of the Glacier Destinations Resort, our local geothermal resources, mountain bike parks, and unparalleled winter recreation terrain contribute to a vibrant small-town atmosphere.

GreenStar values versatility, so your day could include: assessing logging chance, laying out road and boundary, or collecting hydrological and ecological data. You’ll be using GPS, LIDAR, field GIS, CENGEA, and office applications.

GreenStar employees are caring, safety oriented, and always diligent. If you’re interested in visual impact assessments, GIS, road design, and remote sensing, you’ll be welcome to develop and use these skills and software.

These are permanent positions.

We specialize in Cutting Permit development, timber assessments, and silviculture services for clients in the Robson Valley and elsewhere in the interior of the province.
