Geoterra IRS is accepting applications for the position of Forest Professional in our Prince George office. The successful candidate for this position will be an integral part of our professional services team. Our clients include major forest licensees, First Nations communities, primary oil and gas producers, and government agencies. Geoterra IRS has many exciting projects that require the expertise of a motivated team player.
This position is based in Prince George, BC but may require travel throughout northern BC. Our work is a combination of town work and camp/hotel work.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in a natural resource field.
• Registered or able to register with the Association of BC Forest Professionals (RPF, RFT, FIT, or TFT).
• Positive attitude, highly organized, with a proven ability to provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff members.
• Work in a team environment, both in the field and office
• Valid BC driver’s license
• Education in a natural resource field or 1 year of experience in forestry field work will be considered as an asset.
