Hikurangi Forest Farms Ltd owns and manages 27,000ha of sustainably managed forest in the Gisborne region. All forest are within easy daily commute distance from the office base located in Gisborne city. 

The position offers an excellent opportunity for personal and career growth with a stable forest owner. Key functions of the role are coordinating the forest establishment, silviculture tending, forest maintenance and protection operations whilst ensuring health, safety & environmental standards of the contractor workforce are achieved. 

Applicants should have; 

• A sound practical background of forest establishment and silviculture operations
• Experience in technical forestry applications  
• Good physical fitness
• Computer literacy skills
