F4 Tech currently has an opening for a Forest Inventory Field Supervisor based out of its Tallahassee, FL office.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage a team of Field Technicians, audit their work, plan field logistics, meet with client representatives, and collect forest inventory data.
The position works closely with the project manager to ensure timely completion of assignments.
Most work is travel-related and in the field. All travel-related expenses are covered by the company. Due to the intense nature of the travel, we have developed a flexible schedule allowing for extra days off to mitigate the travel time. Usually this schedule is three weeks on, one week off.
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as well a part of a team. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in forestry or related field, a bachelor’s degree is preferred and at least 2 years of forest inventory experience. Experience using GIS and Handheld GPS units is a plus.
Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with experience and consists of a base salary and production bonuses. Benefit package includes 401K with company match after one year. Medical insurance and fully paid short-term as well as long-term disability insurance are available after 30 days.
