Oceanside Forest Consulting is based out of Nanaimo, BC, with clients located on central Vancouver Island. We have specialized in providing quality forest engineering services for over 12 years. Employees are provided a safe, productive, and professional work environment with competitive wages and a flexible schedule. All work is located on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

We are looking for one or two permanent, full-time forest engineers to join our team for road and cutblock layout and mapping.

Applicants should demonstrate the following:

Senior Engineer

• RPF / RFT designation or eligible for registration with ABCFP.

• Proven field experience with coastal cutblock design and road layout.

• Experience with Trimble GPS, Roadeng and GIS programs an asset.

• Able to communicate and work with others in a professional environment.

• Valid BC Drivers Licence.

• Level 1 First Aid, S100 an asset.

Assistant Engineer

• Technical diploma or degree in forestry, eligible for registration with ABCFP.

• Able to communicate and work with others in a professional environment.

• Layout or forestry experience and asset with a desire for further development.

• Physically capable of rigorous field work.

• Valid BC Drivers Licence.

• Level 1 First Aid, S100, an asset.
