Specific Skills: Set up machines and equipment; Oversee safety of operations; Establish work schedules; Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed; Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers; Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity

Additional Skills: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions; Prepare production and other reports; Monitor safety conditions; Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Workers Supervised: Other wood processing machine operators; Labourers in wood, pulp and paper processing
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles; Gloves
Work Site Environment: Dangerous; Noisy; Dusty; Hot
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Compensation

$32.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
