Field Manager - Agroforestry (Management & Executives)

WA Sandalwood Plantations Pty Ltd is a company dedicated to establishing and managing commercial plantations of West Australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) on behalf of institutional, corporate and private investors. Founded in 2001, the company now manages over 13,000 hectares of sandalwood plantations and is the world's largest manager of Santalum spicatum assets.

We are seeking:

• An energetic field manager to assist in the day to day field operations

• An individual with a keen eye for detail and willingness to learn

• An individual that adds complementary and practical skills to an established field team

This is a plantation based role for an individual that enjoys working in, and being part of a rural community within the Central Wheatbelt region (c. 230kms from Perth).

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of three years experience in an associated industry (agriculture, horticulture, tree crops, plantations or forestry)

• Practical field experience. Formal qualifications in a related field is beneficial but not essential

• Broad understanding of agricultural practices and machinery

• A good level of computer literacy and information systems. Previous experience in using GIS systems will be viewed favourably
