Employment Opportunity: Field Forester Position

e have an opening for an enthusiastic and fit Field Forester. This is a full time, permanent position. As this is predominantly a field position, candidates must be physically fit and willing to work in various weather conditions. Some camp work will be required, with food and accommodation provided while in camp.

Duties will range widely from block layout to SP data collection and write-ups, to forest health and silviculture surveys.

Duties/responsibilities will be assigned based on experience and job performance.

Candidates must possess a superior work ethic and bring a positive and professional attitude to this position.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate on experience and education and will be based on the ABCFP salary survey(s).

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a superior attitude and have a Forestry diploma or degree from an accredited institution.

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.

Bear aware courses, WCB first aid training, EMS training, ABCFP registration are assets, but not requirements, as we are willing to train.
