Northeastern Forestry Concepts Inc. is a consulting forestry firm based out of Saylorsburg, PA. We offer a large range of forestry based services to public and private landowners and work primarily in Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey.  POSITION:

Full Time Field Forester / Forestry Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Forester will write technical management plans, mark and cut timber stand improvement, mark timber sales, run property lines, and many other miscellaneous tasks. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

At a minimum a candidate must have a two year forestry degree. Education/Experience may affect starting wage levels. 

Compensation

Payroll: Starting Salary = $ 32,500 / yr = $ 625 / wk + mileage

Automobile:
You will be reimbursed at the rate that is set by the Internal Revenue Service. At this time, the rate is at $ 0.53 / mile. If you drive an estimated
average of 300 / miles per week, you will be reimbursed $ 159.00 per week.

You will be responsible for all costs associated with your vehicle. The vehicle allowance is not subject to taxes.

Thanksgiving, Christmas Day

Personal: You will be granted one week of paid vacation the first year of employment. You will be granted two weeks of paid vacation beginning in your second year.

Health Care:

Northeastern Forestry Concepts will provide individual health insurance coverage for the employee.

Equipment:
An Apple i-phone will be provided for personal and business use. We will provide all necessary field equipment that will be needed by the employee.
The employee will be responsible to provide all clothing with the exception of approved safety boots.
