Executive Director (Management & Executives)

The new Executive Director will also serve as the association’s chief executive officer. Duties include, but are not limited to, making recommendations and participating in the formulation of new policies as well as making decisions within existing policies as approved by the Board of Directors. The individual will maintain effective internal and external relationships and through management and leadership will work to achieve economical, productive performance, forward-looking programming, and constructive growth of the Association.

Minimum qualifications for the position include a Baccalaureate Degree with preference for a professional forester from a Society of American Foresters (SAF) accredited university; a minimum of five years’ employment with a similar organization; and demonstrated public relations experience.
