We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Engineering Manager to join the team in Asheville, NC. The selected candidate must have expert mechanical skills and be able to install and repair heavy manufacturing equipment. Hands-on approach, driven, and a passion for manufacturing are just a few of the qualities we need from a candidate. The company is growing rapidly over the next 5 years and this is a fast track role into higher level plant operations or maintenance management. JOB DUTIES :
* Provide safety to the department and ensure that safety is the top priority of the job.
* Mechanical techniques in training, installation, repairs, and improvements
* Cross-functional meetings and reporting to plant management
* Manage a maintenance and engineering department of over 100 employees
* Manage a multi-million dollar budget.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Only
* Over 7 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager
* Over 5 years of experience working in a pulp and paper or packaging plant
* Experience with leading PMs, CMMS, SAP, and RCA
* Excellent communication and strong leadership qualities
* Experience with implementation of all maintenance mechanics and programs
