Electrician - $3,000 Signing Bonus

Performs preventative maintenance and industrial electrician duties in order to ensure that all machinery is functioning at full capacity at all times; applies all applicable safety precautions and performs duties in an efficient and profitable manner that promotes safety and superior employee relations.

• Completes weekly preventative maintenance checklist.
• Installs, monitors, tests, repairs and replaces electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Operates and maintains high voltage switchgear and controls; repairs and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
• Troubleshoots and repairs distribution system malfuctions.
• Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.
• Installs and maintains various types of motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers.
• Interprets blueprints, works from sketches or verbal intructions.
• Adheres to all safety standards and performs duties in compliance with company safety policies and procedures, and all regulations.

Requires full knowledge of Electrical Control Systems and be capable of making small changes to control systems when necessary. Must be proficient using all electrical measuring equipment.

Must have 3-5 years as an industrial electrician.

Must have High School diploma or GED.

Must be literate in PLC logic; proficient with 480-volt motors, starters, variable speed drivers and motor controls. 

Must have experience with conduit sizing/running/bending and electrical codes.

Must be able to provide own hand tools.

Must have working knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Must be proficient using all electrical measuring equipment.

Must be available to work all shifts.

Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
