    Operations

  • Supervise the unit’s E/I maintenance activities by optimizing material, labour and equipment use to achieve or exceed production and quality targets as well as financial objectives (cost control and reduction).
  • Develop and maintain an E/I preventive and predictive maintenance program in conjunction with the Technical Assistant through system and equipment inspection to maximize reliability.
  • Perform all E/I maintenance administrative duties (reports: maintenance, time sheets, accidents, performance, training, employee turnover, environment, etc.) in compliance with the labour agreement in force.
  • Review production, quality control, maintenance, downtime, and statistical reports and work orders to optimally plan own activities.
  • Identify, recommend and/or implement changes designed to improve production procedures, equipment performance, working conditions and product quality to maximize the section’s efficiency.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the site’s information systems to ensure smooth running operations.
