JOB DESCRIPTION 

Western Forest Products' Central Island Forest Operation (CIFO) is currently seeking a Driller/Blaster to join our Englewood Forest Operation located approximately 45 minutes south of Port McNeill, BC.   This is a 6 on, 3 off shift.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Qualified candidates will have an excellent safety record and a strong work ethic.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player with excellent time management skills.  They will be creative and innovative in their thinking and problem solving abilities.  

Sucessful candidates must have a valid blasting certificate and experience with a hydraulic excavator drill.  Candidates must also have a valude driver's license, preferably a class 1 or class 3.

Preference will be given to those individuals that hold a First Aid Level 3 Certificate with transport endorsement.  In addition, experience with Rock Truck or Spread Cat is an asset.
