Starting base salary $85-125K

A stable and growing - strong manufacturer and distributor producing architectural hardwood veneer and plywood materials have an immediate opening for a Director of Operations to join our team as the leader! 
 
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the steady growth objectives of the organization.
- Motivate and lead a high performance management team. while provide coaching and mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development process.
- Responsible for leading safety and OSHA standards to achieve zero accidents within the facility and maintain safety certification.
- Overall supervisory responsibility for day to day shop floor output, inventory management and customer quality requirements.
- Develop and implement customer quality standards within the operations to achieve zero customer defects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Manage scheduling of 1st and 2nd shifts
- Some travel out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
- Must have at least 8+ years of strong operational experience in the wood related industry.
- Strong understanding of LEAN principles and Continuous Improvement disciplines.

Compensation

Salary: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00
