Each year we hire over 100 employees into term positions to work within our 11 Woodlands locations in BC and Alberta located in Vavenby, Radium, Elko, Mackenzie, Cranbrook, Prince George, Vanderhoof, Houston, Chetwynd, Fort St. John and Grande Prairie (AB).

Currently, we are looking for a Crew Leader to join our Field Operations team at our Fort St. John division for an 11 month seasonal contract.


Responsibilities:

  • Road and cut block development, site level plans and ecosystem data collection, operational cruising, field information mapping, stream and riparian assessments
  • In-office design working with Arc Map/Arc View and Road Eng tools for engineering and operational duties in preparation for field work

Required Skills:

  • A Forestry related degree or diploma
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working in a Forestry related capacity; preference will be given to those with experience doing cut block development or cruising work.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork in a team environment
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license
