Commercial Transport Mechanic (Maintenance & Trades)

Duties include maintenance, repairs, and diagnosis of trucks, trailers, and forklifts including hydraulic and electrical systems. As well as knowledge and involvement in disassembling and re-assembling all components of heavy equipment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman or Red Seal Commercial Transport/Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification or 3rd and 4th year Apprentice
- Authorized Inspector qualification considered an asset.
- Class 1 Driver's License considered an asset.
- Welding experience will be considered an asset.
- Basic computer skills
- A strong command of the English language (written and verbal)

In this Role, responsibilities include:
- Support company policies and procedures regarding, health and safety, and scheduled maintenance programs.
- Diagnosing various equipment for malfunctions and faults
- Cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment
- Interpreting work orders and manuals
- Writing service reports.
- Ensure all work performed meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.

Compensation

In addition to hourly pay, we offer an RRSP plan and a generous benefit package.

$30-$34 per hour depending on experience level.
