Certified Sawfilers (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

We are currently seeking CERTIFIED SAWFILERS in our Port Moody sawmill.

The Certified Sawfilers will be responsible for providing the safe operation of saw line equipment related to saws and knives, maintaining the inventory and ensuring the equipment is in good running order.  A Benchperson endorsement is a definite asset.

The successful candidates will have

• Previous saw filer experience maintaining saws in a high paced production environment.
• Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process.
• Safety conscious attitude.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively participate in a team environment.

Shift work is required, subject to the production and maintenance requirements of the operation.  A valid BC Driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
