Persons with Forest Industry experience bookkeeping preferred, however the company is willing to train qualified candidates.

Logging Contractor hiring EXPERIENCED BOOKKEEPER. Individual must be reliable and self motivated. Extensive experience using Quikbooks software.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts using QuikBooks
  • All government remittances and other forms and documents
  • Preparing bank deposits ,reconciliations
  • Payroll
  • Invoicing
  • Phase tracking spread sheets
  • Prepare year end filing with the accountant
  • Office reception/administration:
  • Answer phones
  • Send and receive emails
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Receive deliveries
  • Filing and clerical duties
  • Prepare and handle documents, invoices, revisions as requested

Qualifications:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word programs
  • Proficient use of QuikBooks
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Must have an extremely high attention to detail and professionalism
  • Must be able to prioritize, multi task and meet deadlines
