Associate Forester (Forester)

Primary responsibilities will be completing annual timber inventories, logging supervision, timber sale implementation and administration, and the supervision of other silvicultural activities.

Additional responsibilities include GIS/GPS mapping, growth and yield modeling, timber marking, and prescribed burning.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work well in a team environment and on their own. Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel & Word) and ArcGIS is required.

Employment Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from an educational institution with a forestry curriculum accredited by the Society of American Foresters is required.

Full-time, entry level.
