Job Description: 
The primary role will be supporting property management, CTT asset management, and dispositions activities.
The ideal candidate with have Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate or Forestry with a record of high academic performance and a good foundation in financial and/or real estate analysis.
The Asset Management Analyst will report to the Vice President Operations.
Within this role, he/she will be responsible for:
• Coordinate property budgeting and reforecasting efforts
• Collect and analyze price and comparable land sales data and prepare benchmarking and forecast analysis regionally and across the entire land base
• Coordinate with property managers on information requests to support finance, accounting, appraisal, lender, and other asset related information
• Prepare sum of the parts valuations analysis, coordinate listing agreements, and assist with closing coordination for land sales
• Assist in the preparation and update of reports, presentations and analyses
• Work directly with internal and external team members to resolve financial model, transaction and operational issues
• Review materials as part of the acquisitions due diligence process
• Help coordinate Sustainable Forestry Initiative Certification (SFI) activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Asset Management activities support (35%);
2. Land Sales Support and Analysis (30%);
3. Budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting (25%);
4. Preparation of approval documentation and board materials (5%);
5. Assistance with due diligence and closing of transactions (5%).
Qualifications: 
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in business, finance, economics, real estate, or forestry or related field with a record of high academic achievement (strong GPA).
• Ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years of applicable experience
• Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
• Advanced computer skills specifically, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), and GIS
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
• Understanding of timberland transactions and operations • Well-developed verbal and written communications and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with CatchMark employees and business partners
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
