ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING ANALYST

Job Status: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will provide accounting, reporting, and financial analysis support, for clients. You will be expected to work independently and as a team. This position supervises staff accountants and administrative assistants.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. A four year degree in accounting, finance or business related field is required. Good knowledge of general accounting and internal controls is required. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both written and spoken word. Experience with Dynamics SL, FRx Report writer and Crystal Report Writer is a plus. Attention to detail is a must.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist clients with maintaining accounting, management and financial data in FIS. Review acquisition document and book property in FIS as assigned. Review reports for accuracy; maintain accounting work papers and supporting analysis for all tasks performed. Prepare accounting entries and reconcile accounts; answer accounting and financial questions by researching, analyzing and interpreting data. Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of client reports. Must meet deadlines for quarter end close and financial statements issuances as well as prepare reports used for tax reporting purposes. Create and maintain business process maps for all accounting services. Will not schedule vacation during critical reporting periods unless absolutely necessary. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
