Background: Northwest Hardwoods is a world-class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the furniture, cabinet, molding, millwork and RV industries.  We serve the industrial market segment worldwide.  We are searching for a world class, hands on candidate with proven industry experience to serve our customer base in the Elkhart, Indiana RV and mobile home market. 

Key Functions:  Provides outside industrial sales support to include parts and components for the RV and mobile home industry.  In addition there is an opportunity to serve the upholstered furniture, cabinets, fixtures, door and millwork & components markets. Key function is to maintain key customer and key supplier relations.  Coordinates inventory and product sourcing activities with regular customer visits performing cycle counts with their senior buyers.  Acts as liaison with Service Center support functions of credit, delivery, remanufacturing, warehousing, and administrative personnel to provide total customer satisfaction. 

Education, Experience & Skills

Required: Strong customer partnership and consultative selling skills, computer literate, positive can-do attitude, committed to being a team player and a high achiever. 

Preferred: Bachelor degree.  5+ years Industrial Wood Product sales experience and focused on safety.  Ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial products, hardwoods, millwork, panel products, i.e. import and domestic hardwood/softwood plywood, commodity and specialty OSB products. 

This is a Full-Time, Exempt position.
