Colorado Forestry Associations

  • Colorado Timber Industry Association - The Colorado Timber Industry Association is a trade association that advocates for Colorado's forest products companies and for scientific, sustainable forest management.
  • Colorado Forestry Association (CFA) - The Colorado Forestry Association (CFA) is the Colorado chapter of the National Woodland Owners Association. Founded in 1884, its original mission was to support conservation, management and renewal of forests through forestry legislation, public education and creation of forest reserves.

Connecticut Forestry Associations

Maine Forestry Associations

  • North East State Foresters Association (NEFA) - The North East State Foresters Association (NEFA) is the state foresters of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York cooperating with the USDA Forest Service State and Private Forestry.
  • Professional Logging Contractors of Maine (PLC) - Since 1995 the PLC has been the voice of Maine’s Logging industry. The PLC is Maine’s only trade organization which exists to give independent logging contractors and sole proprietors a voice in the rapidly changing forest industry. Our Board is made up entirely of loggers, making us a logging organization that is run by loggers for loggers.
  • Maine Forest Products Council (MFPC) - Since 1961, the Maine Forest Products Council has been the voice of Maine’s forest economy. The MFPC represents the diverse needs of Maine’s forest products community. Our members are landowners, loggers, truckers, paper mills, tree farmers, foresters and lumber processors, but they are also bankers, lawyers and insurance executives. We feel we represent anyone who has an interest in seeing the Maine woods remain a viable, sustainable resource.

  • American Forest & Paper Association - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) is the national trade association of the forest products industry and advances public policies that promote a strong and sustainable U.S. forest products industry in the global marketplace.
  • National Association of State Foresters (NASF) - NASF seeks to discuss, develop, sponsor and promote programs and activities which will advance the practice of sustainable forestry, the conservation and protection of forest lands and associated resources and the establishment and protection of forests in the urban environment.
  • Forest Resources Association (FRA) - The Forest Resources Association (FRA) represents diverse segments of the wood fiber supply chain, promoting forest products industry members' ability to compete successfully in the global marketplace.
  • American Forests - American Forests, the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the country, advocates for the protection and expansion of America’s forests. Since 1990, we have planted nearly 40 million trees.
  • National Hardwood Lumber Association - The National Hardwood Lumber Association was founded in 1898 to establish a uniform system of grading rules for the measurement and inspection of hardwood lumber. Since then, NHLA has taken on the role of educator, whose mission is to provide the industry with the training it needs to succeed in a changing and global economy.

  • Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests - Founded by a handful of concerned citizens in 1901, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests is now one of the country's most effective statewide land conservation organizations. As a non-profit membership organization, the Forest Society is dedicated to protecting the state's most important landscapes while promoting the wise use of its renewable natural resources.

New York Forestry Associations
